The Global Sourcing Associate (GSA) Program is an entry-level program with a 采购 operations focus. It is designed to give associates exposure to International Paper’s 采购 strategy 和 purchasing processes. This begins with the strategic level elements 和 concludes with the implementation 和 sustain phase at the 制造业 locations. A Replenishment Planner’s purpose is to satisfy customer requirements by managing finished goods 和 work-in-process inventories at our 制造业 facilities 和 distribution centers.  This requires managing data 和 forecast, monitoring existing inventory, underst和ing consumption trends 和 lead time factors, coordinating production 和 deployment for production facilities 和 distribution centers.

The Transportation Planner has responsibility for creating shipment plans to meet on time 交付y. The individuals selected for this position will be utilizing SAP technology 和 processes in a centralized environment for facilities to achieve results in 运输.    

The Transportation Planner performs shipment planning 和 man年龄ment functions for freight originating at assigned IP facilities. The daily responsibilities involve actively managing the open orders 和 providing timely shipments for execution at each facility.  Planners will use computerized decision support tools to develop 和 execute daily shipment plans utilizing system generated tenders. 在这个角色, the planner will effectively analyze freight consolidation 和 optimization, 模式选择, carrier selection 和 continuous move techniques to meet service requirements at minimum cost.
